Name: Muhammad Badee" Abdel-Magied Sami.

Date of Birth: 7 August 1943.

Place of Birth: Al-Mahalla Al-Kubra.

Qualifications:

Posts Occupied:

  • Deputy of Dean for higher studies and research affairs for 1 term.

Current Post:

Syndicalistic Work:

  • Secretary General of veterinaries syndicate for 2 terms.
  • Cashier of the Association of syndicates of medical professions for 1 term.

Lawsuits Faced:

  • First Lawsuit is the "Military Lawsuit" in 1965 with the martyr Sayyed Qutb other Brothers, he was sentenced to 15 years and spent 9 of them, then was released on 4/4/1974.

After that, he restored my work at* AssyutUniversity then was transferred to Zagazeg University. Later, he traveled to Yemen and then returned to work at Bany Sueif University.

  • Second Lawsuit is "The Da"wa Association Lawsuit" in 1998, he was arrested for 75 days for he was the chairman of the The Islamic Da"wa Association at Bany Sueif after the blessed haj Hassan Goda was arrested.
  • Third Lawsuit is the " Syndicalistic Lawsuit", it was in front of the Military Court in 1999. he was sentenced to 5 years, but he spent 3 years and 3 quarters of a year for he has been released after spending 3 quarters of the decree.

Marital State:

  • Married and has two sons one is Amar – computer engineer - and the other is Belal - a radiologist -, and a daughter called Doha - a student at the faculty of pharmacy. He also has 3 grandchildren: Ro"a, Habeeb and Iad.

Post in the "Muslim Brotherhood":

A member of the "Bureau of Guidance" since 1993.

Other Missions:

  • Chairman of Pathology & Clinical Pathology Association for the faculties of veterinary on the national level.
  • Editorial in chief of the " Veterinary Researches Magazine", issued by the Fuculty of Veterinary - Bany Sueif University, for 9 years.
  • Establishing The High Veterinary Institution in Yemen during 4 years delegation from 82 to 1986 with its hennery.
  • Translating syllabuses into Arabic & establishing a scientific museum beside some other scientific sections at that institution.

His name was included in the scientific Arabic encyclopedia among the great 100 Arab scientists issued by the Egypt State Information Service in 1999.
